Type 804: Electromagnetic Insertion Flow Meter
The Type 804 is a fully waterproof, electromagnetic insertion flow meter designed for full pipe installations that offers industry-leading performance coupled with robust build quality. It is a highly cost-effective solution due to reliability, ease of installation and recovery, with no interruption to supply, for pipe diameters up to a maximum of 26 feet (8m)
Key features:
- One instrument will measure bi-directional flow rates from 0.07 ft/s (0.02 m/s) to 16 ft/s (5 m/s) with high accuracies of better than 0.007 ft/s (0.002 m/s) for speeds less than 0.3 ft/s (0.1 m/s), enabling effective use of assets.
- Will measure temperature and features a pressure monitoring port (max 20 bar), thereby reducing the number of instruments with two additional data sets for closer integration of data
- Choose your display system of choice, as the Type 804 will interface to loggers and SCADA systems through fully documented and open data protocols. Local display with additional battery capacity is also an option.
- Is a low-energy solution with an achievable battery life of greater than four years. Also available in an external power (non-battery) version, where longer permanent installations are required.
Model 801: Electromagnetic Flat Flow Meter for Open Channels
The Model 801 electromagnetic flat flow meter measures the speed of water in open channel environments with exceptional accuracy. The small sampling volume of the flat sensor makes it suitable for shallow flows or measurements in confined spaces.
Key features:
- Supplied with a dedicated Control Display Unit (CDU) that both drives the sensor and provides data display of the measured water velocity.
- Will display real-time speed data at a resolution of .04 in/s (1mm/s), as well as the result of the data average, and a Standard Deviation figure providing added data confidence, to the exceptional accuracy.
- Includes a solid-state memory to record all results (up to 999 averaged readings), reducing downtime and reducing operation collection.
- Is supplied with CDU Express Windows-based PC software (license free) for data extraction from the CDU.
